Palm Pre is a smartphone which was lauched on 6th June 2009. It has got a multi-touch screen, and a sliding keyboard. Within just 2 days, it has become much famous than any other smartphone at the moment. It is hoped that it would surely take the smartphone market from giants like Apple iphone and blackberry.

The multi-touch is something I liked the most. It responds to us pretty fast. But that’s not the thing which made be it’s fan. There is something special with the multi-touch screen. But I don’t know what it is. It seems pretty natural - that might be the reason why I like it more than those found in other smartphones. The sliding keyboard is also an advantage. The screen is as big as that of iphone and others. But still, the resolution is found to be the same. That means, the clarity found in Palm pre would be much better than iphone and other smartphones out there.

It is with wifi and thus you can connect to internet if there is a hotspot near by you. The operating system used in Palm Pre is a unique one. It is a linux based OS named as WebOS. Palm Pre will allow you to listen to music, send emails, browse the internet, and also to take pictures and videos. It can also be used as a GPS navigator.

Palm Pre weighs just under 140g and it is a solid smartphone at the moment. It has a storage capacity of 8 GB which would be more than enough for storing your multimedia files which would consume the largest share in the memory. It is with a 3 megapixel camera and thus you could use this cool smartphone as a camera as well.

The only disadvantage (even if that’s not a big thing ) that I found in the Palm Pre is that it don’t have a flash memory card slot. Okay, now its time to tell you what’s special about this cool smartphone that is not found in any other smartphone at the moment. Have you ever heard that of wireless charging of smartphones? You might not have heard such a news from anywhere.

But, Palm Pre allows wireless charging! For that you’ll have to buy some the accessories separately. And until you buy them, you can charge it via the micro usb cable.
